There’s a big market in downtown Bandung near the town square, and part of that market is dedicated to pirated DVDs and music. It was closed recently due to a police crackdown, but the appropriate bribes have been paid, and it has been allowed to reopen. I went there today, and purchased the following:
- The Simpsons Complete 8th Season (4 discs)
- Scrubs Complete 4th Season (6 discs)
- Seinfeld Complete 3rd Season (3 discs)
- The Golden Compass (still in theaters!)
- Cloverfield (still in theaters!)
- 28 Days Later
- LOST Season 4 (first few episodes)
- Wedding Crashers - uncorked
That’s 18 discs folks. And I could have bought more, because this place has EVERYTHING you could EVER want. Grand total? Twelve bucks. I love this country. 
Granted, not all of them will work, but if even half of them work, it’s money well spent.
