There’s a line from a Louis Armstrong song that goes something like this:
“When you’re showerin’
Oh, when you’re showerin’
The whole room showers with you”
Okay, so I may have taken some artistic liberties with the exact wording. Anyhow, in Indonesia the bathrooms are more like “wet rooms”. That’s especially true since we’ve installed a shower head in our bathroom. When we take a shower, there’s no curtain and no walls to keep the water from splashing onto the toilet and everything else in the bathroom. All the water just ends up on the floor and drains out. So the whole room showers with you. Little Known Fact #3.

Sounds like an easy way to clean the bathroom though - disinfect, then turn on the shower, then leave the bathroom. Hey, watch out for the bird flu Billy. I love you.

Don’t worry about bird flu
That’s a concern but only among people who spend a lot of time around chicken farms.

Y’know what? I thought of doing a post on this exact topic. I too installed a shower head but we don’t bother using it. Water pressure is so low that I just use that scooper thing like everybody else here.

Oh yeah, that’s worth mentioning. Most folks here don’t have a shower head at all. They take a “mandi” instead, which means ladeling water over yourself in the bathroom. Refreshing!
