What if you left everything behind, and moved halfway around the world?

The sun rises at halftime

January 12th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I got up at 4:30am to “watch” the Seahawks-Packers game on a live NFL Sports Ticker.  It gives me all the stats & plays as they happen, but it’s not quite the same as the real thing.

The sun is coming up in the crisp morning air, and the world is coming to life as we head to halftime, 28-17 Packers.  The Hawks are going to need an incredible turnaround in the second half to have a chance.  Hopefully an inspired tongue-lashing by Holmgren can give the team what they need.

I (and Eve) look forward to seeing the both of you in May! Do you know how long you’ll be in Seattle? Wasn’t sure if you’d already locked in for another year over there or keeping options open for going to work somewhere else. The motorbike riding gets really fun and functional once you get used to it, eh!? Reminds me of “remaining calm” as we’ve merged through big intersections. Take care buddy, enjoying the perspective on the site.

Hi Lonnie, good to hear from you. We’ll probably be in Seattle for 3 or 4 weeks. We haven’t officially locked in for another year yet, but the thought of starting over in another city/country isn’t appealing. We simply like Bandung too much to move. :) See you soon.
