To be honest, Thanksgiving came and went without much notice here. I almost forgot it completely until my boss (from England) asked me if today was the day.
My dinner tonight was nasi rendang, a sort of beef curry dish from Sumatra that is my absolute favorite Indonesian meal. I eat it a lot, so I can’t pretend it was anything special. But it was tasty.

Don’t feel bad for me - it was delicious.

It’s funny that you pointed out in the legend that I don’t like the egg.
They just seem wrong to me… the way they’re hard-boiled, then peeled and fried. It’s the tough texture of the outside of the egg that really gets me. Blech! But, everything else on that plate is DELICIOUS!

Nice blog, Billy. And happy Thanksgiving.
The photo in your blog header, is that really in Bandung?

Hi mPri. The photo in the header came with the WordPress theme. I’m not sure if it’s Bandung or even Indonesia. But it certainly could be. I’ve definitely seen some landscapes like that (rice fields, palm trees, and mountains).
