These last few days have been very surreal as I close up my life and say good-bye to Seattle. I’m moving to a place with great natural beauty, but I’m also leaving a place of great natural beauty. Seattle is an incredible city, vibrant, and surrounded by incredible vistas and evergreen forests. I can’t believe I’m leaving this all behind, and the convenience and 24-hour availability of everything.
I alternate between being really excited, somewhat scared, and a little sad. It’s just really weird when you know you’re doing things for the last time, seeing things for the last time, and hanging out with people for the last time. I know I’ll be back, but it will be a while.
I can’t believe I’m leaving in 12 days. Time to dismantle my life.
